Why Music Theory?
Do you sometimes feel your lesson time is so limited and precious?
Your piano/violin teacher wants to focus more on the technique, musicality, and other elements, therefore, very little time may be left for music theory.
Do you sometimes struggle when approaching a new piece, how to sight-read efficiently and count the rhythm accurately?
How can we practice more efficiently?
Do you tend to ignore the little accidentals, such as # or b? How to understand the key, and stop playing wrong notes?
Do you want to please and surprise your teacher?
